Experience:
Dr. Rosa Campillo joined Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti in 1983, becoming partner in charge of the Intellectual Property and Family Law Department in 1992. She has led the areas of Wealth Planning, Immigration, Pre- and Postnuptial Counseling, Divorce, among others, providing comprehensive support to both national and international clients.
She has a strong background in International Law and Intellectual Property, fields in which she has been recognized for her expertise and strategic vision. She is a Notary Public of the National District and has represented the firm in major international forums such as the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she has been an active member for over four decades, and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where she has served as national delegate. She is also a founding member and former president of the Dominican Association of Intellectual Property (ADOPI), and a member of the Hispano-Luso-American Institute of International Law (IHLADI), also as a national delegate. Additionally, she has served as a Mediator at the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo.
Previously, she served as Head of the Legal Studies Department at the Ministry of External Relations of the Dominican Republic (1962–1983) and has taught Public and Private International Law as well as Intellectual Property Law at various Dominican universities for over three decades. She was Rector and co-founder of the Institute of Higher Studies in Business Law (IDEMPRESA), now known as the Luis Heredia Bonetti Institute for Specialized Higher Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities.
For her distinguished career, Dr. Campillo has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as a Senior Statesperson, considered a pioneer in the field of Intellectual Property in the Dominican Republic, and by Legal 500 Latin America as a Leading Individual in her practice area.
