Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti is a pioneer among Dominican law firms in recognizing the need for proper solid waste management and promoting the 3Rs culture: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Although the environmental impact of our practice is relatively low compared to other economic activities, we have implemented a series of best practices for over a decade, reaffirming our commitment to the future of the planet.

In 2012, we signed an inter-institutional collaboration agreement with the Centro de Desarrollo Agropecuario y Forestal, Inc. (CEDAF) to implement a program that includes selective separation, collection, disposal, and recycling of solid waste; raising environmental awareness in the community by educating them on their responsibility in caring for the environment; exchanging information on current environmental issues; and participating in the promotion of new legislation to protect our surroundings.

PEOPLE

In addition to our traditional Legal Colloquiums, we promote the holistic development of our team through various continuing education programs.

We also have a cultural committee that fosters culture in all its forms and expressions, organizing visits to museums and historical sites to enrich our team’s cultural knowledge.

HEART CARE

We are committed to providing pro-bono legal assistance to Heart Care Dominicana Inc. (HCD), a nonprofit organization whose main goal is to facilitate access to specialized cardiovascular treatments for patients with limited financial resources.

ANTI-CORRUPTION PROJECT

Since 2010, in collaboration with Herbert Smith, we have actively participated in the Dominican chapter of the International Anti-Corruption Project, aiming to strengthen the country’s anti-corruption legal framework.
