Punta Cana, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – Russin Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, in collaboration with the Fundación Grupo Punta Cana, prides itself in having held its customary Legal Colloquium, this time in Punta Cana, with the topic “Regulatory Aspects of Logistics Activity in the Dominican Republic.” The event, which had the participation of Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez Apolinario, General Advisor of the General Customs Directorate, took place at the Westin Hotel, Punta Cana, last Wednesday, July 26th.
The Colloquium brought together distinguished colleagues from the public and private business sectors who were interested in understanding and discussing the legal and regulatory aspects affecting logistics activity in the country.
Dr. Rosa Campillo Celado, partner in charge of the Intellectual Property Department and Continuing Education program at the firm, had the honor of welcoming and opening the event.
Ms. Angelica Noboa Pagan, a partner at RV&HB, acted as the moderator and provided an introduction to the topic and the invited speaker, Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez Apolinario.
During his presentation, Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez Apolinario emphasized the importance of regulatory aspects in logistics activity to ensure legal security throughout the entire process, from production and handling to final customer delivery.
The Colloquium was concluded by Mr. Georges Santoni Recio, Managing Partner of Russin Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, who highlighted the firm’s track record in different markets and announced firm’s upcoming presence in Punta Cana.
