Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti wishes to express its gratitude to the numerous
people, institutions, colleagues, fellow firms, family and friends, that from all over
the country and abroad, have expressed their condolences on occasion of the
passing this past Tuesday, March 7th, of one of our founding partners, a person of
exceptional virtues, Mr. Luis Heredia Bonetti.
We also would like to express our gratitude for the newspaper editorials, press
articles, social media messages, and the outpour of emails and phone calls, that
have coincided in their testimony of admiration and affection to whom they describe
as the Father of Business Law in our country, an entrepreneur of numerous
initiatives seeking to improve our investment climate; a man of a modern vision in
the exercise of the Legal Profession.
The loss of Mr. Luis Heredia Bonetti, puts both his family and our firm into
mourning. His initiatives will remain impregnated in the socially-oriented institutions
to which he dedicated his work: The APEC family, The Inter-American Bar
Association (IABA/FIA), The American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM-DR),
CEDEMPRESA, IDEMPRESA, EDUCA, FINJUS, ASIEX, The Dominican Week in
the United States, The Fervent Society of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, The
Servants of Mary Congregation, among many others, all friends with whom he
shared his fruitful life.
Our enduring gratitude to all, for the emotional condolences and for all the many
testimonies that have made us even prouder of having collaborated with his
valuable efforts aimed to ennoble the legal profession and to elevate our nation.
Because of all this, in this difficult moment, Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti takes
the opportunity to renew its commitment of professional excellence and social
responsibility.
