The firm Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, along with its Continued Legal Education Department, and the support of the Center for Research and Study of Business Law (CEDEMPRESA), the Specialized Institute of Advanced Business Law Studies (IDEMPRESA) and Apec University, held its customary monthly legal colloquium, last December 17th, at the Grand Consular events room in the El Embajador Occidental Hotel.
Under the Title of “Calls for Tenders for supplies of Energy Distribution Companies”, togetherwith the participation of the speaker Edward Jose Barett Almonte, Legal Director of the Department of Energy; the discussion, invited an analysis of our actual system of supplies for the energy sector and the General Law of Electricity No. 125-01, regarding the sales of energy on long term contracts between a power plant organization and a distributor, the requirements for hiring with the Dominican State among other important aspects related to the subject, leaving everyone present more than pleased with his participation.
With this interesting subject, the firm RVHB concluded a successful year of Continued Education regarding the legal field in the country, strengthening its trajectory of almost 45 years of excellence in legal services and support to education.
